Sports and Athletic Fields

Completed in 1994, Sports Park is an amenity few cities can provide. This 13 acre multi-use sports park located in Pleasanton, California features all types of turf sports activities for the entire community. This park provided soccer, baseball, softball play structures, restroom facilities and open space amenities. A loop path provides spectators and neighbors the ability to jog and stroll while taking in the vast open space this park provides. Client: City of Pleasanton

This redevelopment project consists of a complete renovation of an existing 3.5 acre school field adjacent to Willow Oaks Park. This project, Menlo Oaks School / Willow Oaks School Field consists of a new AYSO Soccer Field and complete Little League Field with state of the art backstop, bleachers, dugouts, turf infield, drinking fountains and high nylon netting to protect the residential condominium development. This tournament baseball play field has a complex subsurface drainage system to facilitate good healthy turf. Our work consisted of field layout, soil and turf selection, and field monitoring, drainage system design and year long maintenance program. Client: City of Menlo Park

Cabrillo Community College is located in Aptos, California and is part of the California Community College system. Opening late winter of 2003 this state of the art athletic facility includes baseball, softball, soccer and golf. The project also includes a 1,200 square foot restroom, concession, storage and office field house with road and parking facility. With a limited budget and timeframe our work included preliminary design, construction document, DSA approval, and construction administration. Client: Cabrillo Community College

The Stanford University Soccer Field complex for Stanford University includes three collegiate fields one of which is for tournament play. This tournament play field has goal area subsurface drainage and bleachers for the spectators and fans. Our work consisted of field layout, soil and turf selection, and field monitoring and drainage system design. Client: Stanford University
